Dinky
03:25
|
|||
Blank walls stare back at me
but I can only see the
look on your face,
I am such a disgrace
I feel like a lost little boy
with nothing but his toys.
Could somebody help him?
Could somebody help me?
Sits down on a swing and he
begins to sing
a lullaby his mother told him.
He just wants someone to hold him.
He goes out into the street.
He thinks the cars are pretty neat.
He goes to the top of the tallest building.
He asked God to forgive him.
Why did nobody help him?
Couldn’t somebody help him?
Why didn’t you help him?

Broken Car
03:43
|
|||
Spent the last 3 weeks in bed.
Haven’t left this house in days.
Need to get out of this town.
I got into my car,
but it won’t start.
Broken heat, broken seat, broken radio.
I got out and walked around
down the same road for a while.
All these streets look the same
in this lonely town.

Salt
03:55
|
|||
Face is dry from salt flats left behind.
So much salt on my tongue
makes me miss the sweetness that never stung.
Don’t take me back.
Don’t want to go.
Don’t want to feel.
Don’t want to.
Bee sting sweetness and smell that fleets.
Bitter cravings get me so high,
only to stick a needle in my eye.
Hole is black and I never want to go back.
Don’t know where just please don’t take me there.

Gun Girl
02:26
|
|||
I cannot walked without being eyed, eyes crawling down, up and down,
prickles up and down my spine.
Eyes all the time, eyes all the time, eyes all the time
I feel his unwelcomed eyes all the time.
Each moment more and more and more and more.
I want to see his insides, I want to see his insides.
I see his lips move
"Come over here baby"

Boy Blanket
03:30
|
|||
He fell asleep on me,
the boy blanket of my dreams.
He kept me warm.
Don’t have to fight it no more.
He made my heart spin.
He really got under my skin.
He didn’t need me.
Need me
Never thought he’d be mine.
Guess I was wrong the whole time.
No longer have to pine over you.
Over you.

Kerrytown
03:56
|
|||
She walks and
she speaks and
she doesn’t understand
the words coming from your mouth.
She doesn’t recognize
her face in the mirror.
Her vision couldn’t be any clearer.
She walks past
her house and
she doesn’t recognize
the people on the front porch.
Oh, how she misses
the laugh of her sweet Anne.
She doesn’t hear it anymore.

Worms
06:06
|
|||
She let him through the gate.
He came to plow her garden.
Only to plant the seeds that rotted her trees
and poisoned her fruit.
She began to see the poison seeping in.
But, there was nothing she could do when
she saw him writhing from gorging on her fruit.
Her eyes turned red,
the anger bubbling up.
She thought she could do anything,
so she conjured up.
A bit of poison to make him writhe
like the worm he is inside.
Inside

I don’t really care if you don’t come ‘round anymore.
Truth is, I don’t love you. Don’t miss you anymore
